State Archives and State Library Complete National Save America's Treasures Grant Campaign
ALBANY -- The New York State Archives and the New York State Library have completed the private match for the National Park Service’s and the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Save America’s Treasures grant for conservation of New York State’s Revolutionary War treasures. According to Save America’s Treasures program officials, the grant was awarded to the state in recognition of the fact that the documents and artifacts included within the state’s collections are of national importance and must be conserved for future generations.
