Albany, NY -- The Board of Regents and the New York State Archives have selected the New York State Thruway Authority and Canal Corporation to receive the 2007 Annual Archives Award for Excellence in State Agency Records Management.
The award will be presented to Diane Galuski, Pierre Cridlig, and Geri Kissane at a luncheon ceremony at the State Education Building in Albany on October 22, 2007.
The award recognizes the Thruway Authority and the Canal Corporation for its outstanding records management program that now serves as a model for other state agencies. It commends the Thruway and Canal Corporation for its remarkable efforts to inventory and develop agency-wide retention schedules over the past few years and for consolidating schedules from divisions across the state into common divisional schedules used by both units.
