Description Correspondence and other papers of Binghamton newspaper publisher Charles M. Dickinson, later U.S. Consul-General to Turkey. Subjects documented include the 1852 Democratic National Convention, U.S.-Turkish relations, and conditions in Europe during the early twentieth century. Dickinson's chief correspondent was his second wife, Alice Bond Minard Dickinson, who was active in the Woman's Christian Temperance Union and the National Women's Republican Club.
