Scope and Content Note
Subject and correspondence files in the records of Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller include: aging; constitutional revision, authorities and commissions; civil defense; commerce; conservation, corrections, education; fiscal taxation; health and sanitation; horse racing; housing; health insurance; labor issues; mental hygiene; public utilities and services; welfare; and youth issues.
The accretion also contains "name files" which consist of copies of outgoing correspondence from the name and correspondence files filed alphabetically by correspondent's last name. The name file serves as a name index to the subject files.

The bulk of these microfilm reels appear to be the original camera masters, which are duplicated by the contents of accretion 13682-78. The remainder of these reels are the original camera masters of the Rockefeller name files, which are duplicated by microfilm reels in series 13681.
