This series consists of an unbound transcription of documents in Volume 25 of the New York Colonial Manuscripts, Administrative Records, 1675-1676. These transcriptions were made before the 1911 New York State Capitol building fire damaged or destroyed many volumes of the Colonial Manuscripts. Original documents from Volume 25 are found in Record Series A1894, New York Colonial Council Papers, 1664-1781.

Scope and Content Note

This series consists of an unbound transcription of documents in Volume 25 of the New York Colonial Manuscripts, Administrative Records, 1675-1676. These transcriptions were made before the 1911 New York State Capitol building fire damaged or destroyed many volumes of the Colonial Manuscripts. Although Volume 25 suffered little damage, these transcriptions may be useful in deciphering documents that are damaged or illegible.
