Scope and Content Note
16084-99: This accretion contains the files of John W. Randall, who was first deputy director of the office during the tenure of director Julio Martinez. The bulk of the records are internal or interoffice memoranda concerning alcohol and substance abuse prevention programs. Many of the records relate to auditing or monitoring of educational programs, to evaluate program spending and effectiveness. Correspondence concerns guidelines for school-based prevention programs; program development; contract management and fund allocation; and legislative proposals and draft legislation. Also included is a small amount of records concerning employee relations, particularly matters of time and attendance and employee discipline.
