Scope and Content Note:
This subseries consists of documents related to the reimbursement by NYSED to school districts for the transportation of Native American students from reservations to district schools. Included are copies of contracts made by school districts to bus transportation companies, state aid vouchers, exemptions from competitive bidding, and charts detailing transporation expenses for each district. Also included are letters from NYSED to school districts detailing policy changes affecting transportation contracts.Arrangement:
Roughly chronological by school year, then roughly alphabetical by name of Indian reservation.
