Scope and Content Note
This series consists of copies of outgoing correspondence from the Comptroller's Office to state agencies, private businesses, federal and local government agencies, various constituent organizations, and other public and private organizations and individuals. According to the comptroller's chief secretary, correspondence files predating December 1982 were destroyed.
18262-93: This accretion originated in Comptroller Edward Regan's office in Albany. The last two boxes consist of an index to the correspondence.
18262-01: This accretion consists of copies of outgoing correspondence from Comptroller H. Carl McCall's office to federal, state, and local government officials, business executives, officers of public and private organizations, and private citizens. The comptroller's deputies produced scattered letters in the accretion, but the bulk of the correspondence bears the signature of Comptroller McCall, himself.
