Scope and Content Note
This correspondence documents such activities and topics as the development of site classification criteria, method and site certification, communications, draft regulations, development of quality assurance guidelines and techniques, and other issues concerning the selection of method and site to deal with the state's low-level radioactive wastes.
The series includes letters and memorandums from executive director Jay Dunkelburger to a variety of correspondents including consultants and site planners, chairman Angelo Orazio, members of the commission's Executive Coordinating Committee, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, staff of New York State and New York City Departments of Health, and job applicants. A very small amount of incoming correspondence is included.
