Scope and Content Note
This series consists of a typescript report submitting a schedule of compensation for the positions covered by Chapter 859 of the Laws of 1937. This legislation prescribed salary rates for State employees in the following types of positions: custodian and domestic service; sub-professional service; clerical, stenographic, and office administrative service; agriculture and conservation service; welfare service; workmen's compensation service; professional service; business administration service; mechanical and construction service; accounting and statistical service; and general administrative service.
