Scope and Content Note
This series consists of election returns recorded following contests for county and state offices in Kings County. The series suffered substantial burn damage in the New York State Capitol fire of 1911 and significant portions of most pages were lost. Among the contests documented are the victory of Republican Clark D. Rhinehart over Democrat William A. Furey in the race for sheriff and the victory of Republican Jacob Worth over Democrat Thomas F. Farrell in the race to represent the fourth senate district in the State Legislature.
