Records include school warrants, oaths of office, and town meeting minutes (1804-1895); applications for executive clemency (1884-1894); statements of votes given for 1884 presidential and vice presidential electors by county boards of canvassers to the State Board; indexes of conveyances recorded in the Office of Register of the City and County of New York (1857); correspondence to the Comptroller's Corporation Tax Bureau regarding payment of state franchise tax (1918-1919); estimates for repairs in prisons requiring special fund appropriations (1924-1926); and inventories of state hospitals (1926-1927).
