Scope and Content Note
This series consists of printed copies of wholesale reports depicting the volume of snap beans for Central New York. The records were generated by the Market and Consumer Information Service of the Department of Agriculture, and were used to help determine production and marketing policies regarding snap beans. The series contains information on the price and volume of snap beans as well as weather conditions. The reports also contain data regarding the supply, demand and market of New York City, and in many instances, Philadelphia as well. The series may be used in conjunction with record series A0717, A0718, and A0720, which describe produce and cattle prices.
