Summary:

This series consists of monthly statements of monies received by state hospitals submitted to the Comptroller. Each statement lists date, payor, purpose, and amount. Most of the entries are for maintenance fees charged to inmates. Also included is a statement of money received for sale of uniform materials manufactured at the hospital and a sworn statement by the Steward attesting to the accuracy of the figures.

Scope and Content Note

This series consists of monthly statements of monies received by state hospitals submitted by the hospital stewards to the Comptroller.

Each statement lists date, payor, purpose, and amount. Most of the entries are for maintenance fees charged to inmates. Accompanying each form is a separate statement of money received during the month for sale of uniform materials manufactured at the hospital. On the reverse of both statements is a sworn statement by the Steward attesting to the accuracy of the figures.
