Among them are: working papers for a reduction in canal tolls to compete with railroads, 1852-1853; rough minutes of the Canal Auditor, January-April 1877; a list of state stock redeemable in 1837, giving names and addresses of stock holders; report on the financial department of the State of Ohio, 1839; specifications for watch house and state scow, Cayuga and Seneca Canal, 1847; inventory of personal property conveyed by Canal Commissioner Myron Holley to Commissioners of the Canal Fund, 1825; letterheads of business concerns submitting files for payment by the Canal Commissioners; and a few printed broadsides relating to canal tolls.
