Counties represented include Orange, Jefferson, Dutchess, Montgomery, and Putnam. There are also orders and reports of commissioners of appraisal in the case of Orange County vs. Thaddeus S. Durland and others, 1907, which concerned a dispute over appraised value of lands to be taken for highway improvement. It is unclear how these documents came to the Comptroller.
