This series contains information on escaped inmates including name of colony from which escaped; date of escape; name of inmate; inmate's city of residence (occasionally); and if returned or sent to another institution. Similar information is provided for inmates who escaped from hospitals or during trips to or from hospitals. Records are restricted.

Scope and Content Note

These volumes provide the following information on inmates who escaped: name of colony from which escaped; date of escape; name of inmate; inmate's city of residence (occasionally, in volume 1 only); and if returned or sent to another institution (volume 1 only). The same information is provided at the back of each volume for inmates who escaped from hospitals or during trips to or from hospitals.
