Scope and Content Note
This volume contains mostly attendance information but also some work schedule information.
Attendance information includes daily attendance records for each month (1895-1905) providing name, position, notation for present(1) or absent without pay (a), indication if on vacation, resigned, or dismissed, and total days in attendance for the month (until October 1895 only); and vacation leave records (1902, 1907-1912) providing name, position or department, and dates of vacation. Work schedule information consists of a typescript schedule of time off allowed to particular officers and a second typescript sheet listing changes in daily work schedules. The superintendent's duties included establishing and enforcing time schedules for employees.
