Scope and Content Note
This series consists of a book of stubs from requisition for materials needed in the construction of the new State Capitol building. Articles needed were required to be obtained by requisition forms signed by the superintendent, endorsed by the engineer or architect, and approved by the Executive Committee of the Board of Commissioners. The requisition form was required to be attached to the bill for articles requested when presented for payment. Each stub lists the date of requisition, requisition number, to whom the requisition was made (supplier), and the name and quantity of the articles requisitioned. There are no signatures of endorsement or approval on these stubs, although there are lines designated for them.
Access Restrictions
