Scope and Content Note

This series consists of booklets containing chronological entries of payments by Treasurer Gerardus Bancker. Each entry states the name of the payee, sometimes the purpose of the payment, the voucher number, and the amount of payment. The booklets are numbered 9 through 23.

Custodial History

A typewritten listing of the date spans of the booklets indicates that the series formerly included booklets numbered 1-8, May 1775 through December 1781. Those missing booklets were presumably destroyed in the 1911 State Capitol fire.

Restricted due to burn damage. Records have been conserved and may be used with care.
