Scope and Content Note
This series consists of booklets containing chronological entries of payments by Treasurer Gerardus Bancker. Each entry states the name of the payee, sometimes the purpose of the payment, the voucher number, and the amount of payment. The booklets are numbered 9 through 23.
Related Material
A0870 Copies of accounts audited by the auditor general for bills presented to the state, contains related records.
Custodial History
A typewritten listing of the date spans of the booklets indicates that the series formerly included booklets numbered 1-8, May 1775 through December 1781. Those missing booklets were presumably destroyed in the 1911 State Capitol fire.
Access Restrictions
Restricted due to burn damage. Records have been conserved and may be used with care.
