Administrative History

The maps in this series were created pursuant to legislation entitled "An act directing the surveying into building lots and sale of certain lands opposite to the Village of Oswego," passed April 9th, 1811.

Scope and Content Note

This series consists of blueprint copies of maps of East Oswego. The maps depict Lake Ontario; the Oswego River; Fort Ontario and Old Fort Oswego; streets; bridges; and lots with lot numbers included.
