This series consists of payments made and monies received by the Surveyor General and State Engineer and Surveyor including payments for sale of state land. One volume recording payments and receipts includes date; voucher number; to whom paid or from whom received; and amount paid or received. Other volumes recording land sale payments include payment date; voucher number; lot number; number of acres; location, tract, or village; purchaser; amount for which sold; and amount paid.

Scope and Content Note

These volumes record payments made and monies received by the Surveyor General and State Engineer and Surveyor.

One volume recording payments and receipts provides: date; voucher number; to whom paid or from whom received; and amount paid or received.

Three volumes recording payments received by the Surveyor General for sales of state land and paid into the treasury provide: date of payment: voucher number; lot number; number of acres; location, tract, or village; purchaser; amount sold for; and amount paid. Some land sales recorded in these volumes are also recorded in Books of Sales of State Land.
