Scope and Content Note
This series consists of printed half-tones, printed charts and maps, and negative photostats of maps prepared by the Historical Records Survey for unidentified publications. Items vary in size from 8-1/2" x 11" to 17" x 22".
The following items are included: half-tones of several colonial and revolutionary era buildings in New York State; organization charts of the colonial and state court system; maps showing county boundaries at different times during and after the Revolutionary War; organization charts of colonial and state county government; floor plans of the Onondaga County Court House, Syracuse; and maps showing town, village, and city boundaries in the counties of Allegany, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Lewis, Monroe, Montgomery, Oneida, and St. Lawrence.
Custodial History
These records were transferred by the Historical Records Survey to the State Library in 1942. Subsequently they were transferred to the State Archives as parts of boxes 10-14 of old collection #550D, accession number -372.
