This series relates to the Department of Agriculture and Markets activities under the responsibility of the New York State Interdepartmental Committee on Farm and Food Processing.
Scope and Content Note
The Federal and State Offices of Economic Opportunity provide financial support for local anti-poverty campaigns among migrant workers in the form of grants, loans, and loan guarantees, to assist the state and its localities in housing, sanitation, education, and day care of children.
These files contain: grant proposals and applications for Community Action Programs, in particular, the New York State Migrant Child Care Program; contracts for expenditure of State and O.E.O. funds; grant approval statements; grantee monthly financial reports; Community Action Program status reports; audit surveys; progress reports; and community action guides.
