This series contains announcements, program schedules, certificates of attendance, and instructors' manuals and other teaching materials relating to several training institutes conducted by the Office of War Training. The records document the office's efforts to educate civilians for a variety of war time programs. Included are training materials for: air raid wardens; block leaders; fuel conservation; gas reconnaissance officers; general war training, including first aid; and plant protection.

This series contains training program materials for: air raid wardens; block leaders; fuel conservation; gas reconnaissance officers; general war training, including first aid; and plant protection.

A4378-94: This accretion contains one training manual for air raid wardens and one instructor training manual. Also contained in the accretion are two pamphlets entitled MORALE AND ITS CONTROL and ANXIETY AND ITS CONTROL, printed by the State Hospital Press, Utica, and an air raid warden sign.
