Summary:
This series consists of statements of individuals regarding their campaign receipts and expenditures while assisting in the election of a candidate running for public office. Statements include amount received, person or committee from whom the donation was received, date of receipt, amount of expenditure or disbursement, name of the person or committee to whom money was disbursed and the amount of the payment. The statements also include the candidates name or political party on whose behalf the individual campaigned.

Administrative History

Statements were filed pursuant to sections 541 and 546 of the Election Law (L. 1909, Ch. 22; Consolidated Laws of 1909, Ch. 17), which required any individual who expended or contributed money "to promote the success or defeat of a political party" to file a statement of campaign receipts and payments.
