Scope and Content Note

This series contains certificates attesting to the selection of treasurers of political committees. The certificates were compiled pursuant to section 543 of the Election Law (Chapter 22, Laws of 1909; Chapter 17 of the Consolidated Laws of 1909). Each certificate provides the name and address of the treasurer chosen, the name of the committee he represents, the date he was chosen, and the signature of three other committee members certifying the selection.
