Summary:
This series consists of printed copies of restorations to citizenship issued by the governor to convicted felons. Information includes the court where the felon was convicted, the date, felon's name, crime, sentence, place and date of incarceration, and the names of the governor, secretary of state and/or deputy secretary of state.

Scope and Content Note

This series consists of eight bound volumes of printed copies (with the blanks filled in by hand) of restorations to citizenship issued by the governor to convicted felons. Under the provisions of the state's constitution, the governor was authorized to grant these restorations if he so deemed. The negotiations contain the court where the felon was convicted, as well as the date, felon's name, crime, sentence, place of incarceration, date of incarceration, and the names of the governor, secretary of state and/or deputy secretary of state.
