Scope and Content Note
This series consists of a one volume register of summary information relating to inmates discharged from the Eastern New York Reformatory during the period November 14, 1900 to September 30, 1909.
The following information is included in the register: inmate name; date discharged; county where convicted; date of conviction; name of court; name of judge; crime; length of sentence; former trade or occupation; if employed when arrested; color; age; city or country of birth; ability to read or write; height and weight when discharged; previous confinement in state prison; previous confinement in county prison; type of discharge (paroled, expiration of sentence, transferred, or pardoned). If transferred, to where. If pardoned, by whom and under what conditions; parents living and number of children; temperate or intemperate; state of health when convicted; state of health when discharged; and religion.
