This series is a one volume (67 pages) handwritten account of construction of the Main and Hamburgh Street Canal in Buffalo, N.Y. The volume is a compilation of legislative acts, reports, conveyances, deeds, statements, petitions and advertisements that were transcribed and recorded chronologically.
Taken as a whole, these entries document the construction of Buffalo's Main and Hamburgh Street Canal. The volume was compiled by Department of Public Works' personnel but for what reason is unknown.
