Scope and Content Note
This series contains returns of surveys carried out pursuant to warrants from the governor's office providing: name of governor or lieutenant governor; for whom land was surveyed; county and location of land; survey data; date of survey; and name of Surveyor General (volumes 2 and 3). Volume 1 covers 1750-1773; volume 2 covers 1764-1765; and volume 3 covers 1774-1787.
