The Classification and Compensation Division's director has the authority to reallocate salaries or reclassify any position in the classified State Service at the request or appeal of an individual or agency. The director is empowered to hold hearings for the purpose of determining cases.

The Classification and Compensation Division's director can reallocate salaries or reclassify any positions in the classified State Service at the request or appeal of an individual or agency. This series consists of hearing transcripts and a list of hearing attendees. Transcripts are identified by date and position title(s) under consideration. Each contains the appellants' arguments for reallocation or reclassification and detailed descriptions of duties and responsibilities of positions being examined.
