Summary:
This series consists of circulars; announcements and Bulletins sent to school superintendents, principals, teachers, and owners or directors of registered private business schools. The circulars and announcements offered services by the Bureau; suggested course offerings; provided booklists for courses; and discussed conferences or workshop programs and results. Bulletins provided advice on program offerings; information on syllabi; outlines for suggested courses; lists of registered private business schools and explanations of legislation affecting business or distributive education. Revised versions of Bulletins may be included.

Organized into two subseries: 1. Miscellaneous circulars and announcements; 2. Bulletins.

Miscellaneous circulars and announcements: arranged chronological by date of issue.

Bulletins: arranged numerically by bulletin number.

Scope and Content Note

Series consists of a set of mimeographed circular letters, announcements, and Bulletins sent by the Bureau of Business and Distributive Education and its administrative predecessor to school superintendents, principals, teachers, and owners or directors of registered private business schools.

Miscellaneous circulars and announcements: circular letters and announcements concerning services offered by the Bureau, suggestions for course offerings, booklists for courses, and conference or workshop programs and results.

Bulletins: provide advice on program offerings, information on syllabi produced by the Bureau, outlines for suggested courses, lists of registered private business schools, and explanations of legislation affecting business or distributive education. Frequently, revised versions of Bulletins are included.
