Scope and Content Note
This series of photographs and plans documents Roberts Hall, East Roberts Hall, and Stone Hall, the original buildings of the New York State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University.
The two loose-leaf binders contain information on the original and present uses of the three buildings and on the history of the complex. There are also chronological tables of the history of the College of Agriculture and of Roberts Hall, East Roberts Hall, and Stone Hall. Accompanying the narrative are small-scale floor plans, 102 8" x 10" black and white photographs (most keyed to the floor plans), and 19 Mylar copies of original floor plans and elevations. Most of the photographs show the exterior and interior of the buildings in 1985, but there are a few showing them at various times between 1905 and the late 1970's, and a sequence showing its demolition in 1986.
