Scope and Content Note
This ledger documents income and expenditures in a number of Westfield financial accounts for the period 1935 to 1943. The ledger is arranged by name of account and each entry records the date of transaction, amount of transaction, and the page in the institution's general journal where the entry was first recorded.
Accounts in the ledger include: Prison Capital; Industry, Machinery and Equipment; Power; Inter Prison Account; Food and Clothing; Medical and Surgical Care; and Cash to Outgoing Inmates.
