Patients whose cases were being discussed were sometimes present at the meetings, and their statements and the staff's observations of them are included. Reports from staff include abstracts of cases; patients' social, physical, and mental histories and diagnoses; treatment histories; and present symptoms. Staff determinations concerning diagnoses and parole decisions are sometimes noted.
