Summary:
This series consists of a hand-annotated printed volume which lists names of New York State citizens who died in the First World War. Information includes name of individual, address, rank and arm of service, and date and cause of death. Also included is a typed list of nurses who died in service and a list, by county, of fatalities stemming from service in the war.

Arranged by branch of service, then alphabetical by county, and therein alphabetical by last name.

Scope and Content Note

This series consists of a hand-annotated printed volume which lists the names of New York State citizens who died in the First World War. Information includes: name of individual, address, rank and arm of service, and date and cause of death. Included at the rear of the volume is a typed list of nurses who died in service. The volume also contains a list, by county, of numbers killed in action, dead of wounds, and dead of disease. Annotations are in pencil and the volume includes information on servicemen not included in the printed volume. Spine reads, "New York State roll of honor; deaths in the service, 1917-1919."
