Scope and Content Note

This series consists of aerial photographs of Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, and Niagara counties created in 1938. They are 20" x 25" in size and were produced by a lab in Washington, D.C. Each county has a key map indexing the area with a number that corresponds to the correct set of photographs.

Custodial History

This series was transferred from Washington, D.C. to the Buffalo Regional Office of the Department of Transportation. It was later transferred to the New York State Archives in 2007 under RDA 20978.
