Scope and Content Note

This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible website of the New York State Commission on Health Care Facilities in the 21st Century.

B2066-07: This accretion consists of a copy of the Commission on Health Care Facilities in the 21st Century Web site produced on April 11, 2007, shortly after Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It includes the text of the legislation that established the commission and empowered it to review the state's acute and long-term care systems; information about the commission's members, bylaws (2005) governing the commission's operations, schedules of meetings and public hearings; background materials; and presentations. Also included are agendas, minutes, and other meeting materials (2005-2006), statistical data (1994-2004) concerning the fiscal operations of hospitals and nursing homes; and a copy of the commission's December 2006 final report.

Researchers should note that, owing to the formatting of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, the appearance of the archived site differs from that of the live site.
