Scope and Content Note

This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible website of the New York Convention Center Operating Corporation, a subsidiary of the Empire State Development Corporation.

B2099-07: This accretion consists of a copy of the New York Convention Center Operating Corporation site produced on May 4, 2007, shortly after Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains a summary list of events (2005-2007) held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center (New York, N.Y.), information about the center's video production services, and an undated copy of the facility's expansion and modernization master plan.

B2099-08: This accretion consists of a copy of the New York Convention Center Operating Corporation site produced on May 13, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). Most of the information contained in this copy is also present in the May 4, 2007 copy, but an updated list of events (2005-2008) is included.

B2099-11: This accretion consists of a copy of the New York Convention Center Operating Corporation site produced on January 3, 2011, shortly after Governor David A. Paterson (2008-2010) left office. It contains a list of headline events (2008-2010) and monthly events (2009-2010) held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, board of directors meeting minutes (2008-2010), and the corporation's bylaws, procurement guidelines, and code of ethics. Information about services for vendors and visitors is also included.

B2099-20: This accretion consists of two copies of two sections of the New York Convention Center Operating Corporation site that were produced after repeated efforts to capture the site in its entirety proved unsuccessful. The Governance section (copied March 9 and March 10, 2020) contains information about the corporation's executive director and board of directors; board meeting agendas and minutes (2014-2019); and the corporation's bylaws, code of ethics, disposition of property policy, and corporate governance reporting policy. The About section (copied March 9 and March 10, 2020) contains annual reports (2012-2019), financial statements (2012-2019), and annual budgets (2015-2020). Researchers should note that the annual reports should be accessed via the Performance Reports link; owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of web archiving technology, the links embedded in the images of the annual report covers do not work properly.
