Administrative History

The Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority was established in 1950 as the Odgensburg Bridge Authority. Its mission is to provide transportation and real estate development services for commercial and industrial clients.

Scope and Content Note

This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible website of the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority. Researchers should note that repeated attempts to capture this site in 2019 and 2020 were unsuccessful.

B2147-07: This accretion consists of a copy of the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority site produced on December 31, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains the authority's mission statement, bylaws, board of directors meeting minutes (2006), management audits, internal control statements (2004-05 and 2005-06), management discussion and analysis documents (2006), and other materials concerning the authority's operations. It also includes the Adopted Recommended Strategy of the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority (2006), which outlines short and long-term strategies for meeting the authority's mission, and a list of members of the board of directors (2006). Also present are permit and toll information for the Odgensburg-Prescott International Bridge, a list of tenants of the authority's Commerce Park facility, tariff and other information about the authority's Marine Terminal and short-line railroad, and information about the authority's Airport Terminal and the City of Ogdensburg's status as a Foreign Trade Zone.

It contains additional minutes of board meetings (2006-2007) and management discussion and analysis documents (2006-2007) and policies concerning the authority's operations. It also includes updated information about the facilities operated by the authority.

B2147-10: This accretion consists of a copy of the Odgensburg Bridge and Port Authority site produced on December 17, 2010, shortly before Governor David A. Paterson (2008-2010) left office. It contains additional management audits (2006-2009) and management discussion and analysis documents (2005-2011), and policies concerning the authority's operations. It also includes information about the authority's board of directors. Updated information about the authority's facilities is also included.

B2147-17: The accretion consists of a copy of the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority's site produced on January 5, 2017, during Governor Andrew M. Cuomo's second term of office. It contains newer board of directors meeting minutes (2013-2016) and management audits (2012-2015) and updated policy guides concerning the authority's operations. It also includes updated information about the authority's facilities.
