Scope and Content Note
This series consists of archival copies of the official website of Senator Diane J. Savino. Researchers should note that in 2009, each Senator was allotted space on the main Senate website and the official sites of individual Senators were removed from the live Web.
B2255-06: This accretion consists of an archival copy of Senator Savino's official website produced on December 26, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains biographical information, photographs, a district map, and a press release (2005). Also included are constituent mailers and reports (2005) concerning citizens, women's health, and other matters of interest to Senator Savino's constituents.
B2255-08: This accretion consists of a copy of Senator Savino's official website produced on June 12, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains biographical information, photographs, a district map, and press releases (2008) concerning programs and services of interest to Senator Savino's constituents.
Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, most of the information contained within this site could not be captured properly in mid-2008. In addition, some of the navigational links do not work properly. However, identical sets of navigational links appear at the top and the bottom of each page. If the link in one set does not work correctly, click the Web browser's Back button and then click on the corresponding link in the other set.
