Scope and Content Note

This series consists of an archival copy of the official website of Senator James W. Wright produced on December 26, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains biographical information, photographs, and press releases (2001-2006) concerning state funding for programs and services in the 46th Senate District, Senator Wright's sponsorship of sex offender registry, anti-insurance fraud, and other legislation, and other matters of interest to Senator Wright's constituents. Also included is information about elections reform, ethics reform, the state's low-cost energy program, and other issues.

Researchers should note that Senator Wright's site was not captured when he left office in January 2008.
