Arranged by county then by quadrangle.

Scope and Content Note

This series consists of overlay maps corresponding to United States Geological Survey (USGS) quadrangle maps showing locations of state lands in the Adirondack region (mostly eastern Adirondacks). The maps also depict survey patents. Maps are 1:24,000 scale and contain extensive pencil and color-coded notations and additions. Some camera negatives are included.

Acquisition Information

This series was transferred to the State Archives under RDA 20984.

Custodial History

This series was probably produced by the Department of Transportation, Map Information Unit for the Department of Environmental Conservation. The series was transferred to the State Archives by the Office of Cyber Security & Critical Infrastructure Coordination.
