Scope and Content Note

This series consists of copies of monthly reports made to the Governor and the State Board of Charities. Information may be either specific or general in nature. Topics include facilities conditions, plans and progress of construction and remodeling projects, purchase and installation of new equipment, significant financial items, and staffing changes. Each report includes a statement of the physician as to the general condition of health among the patients and concludes with original signatures of the members of the board. A detailed list examined by the board of items abandoned during the month is attached to each report.

Restricted permanently in accordance with Section 33.13, Mental Hygiene Law, relating to confidentiality of clinical records and the Personal Privacy Protection Law. Access permitted under certain conditions upon application to and approval by the Office of Mental Health.
