Scope and Content Note
This series of scrapbooks created at the Newark Developmental Center primarily contain newspaper clippings relating to the facility, its staff, and patients. Special events, such as the arrival of distinguished visitors, graduation ceremonies, holiday celebrations, festivals, visitors' days, and field days are among the topics of the articles.
B2626-18, Box 1 contains a scrapbook, including lists of graduates and programs from special events that refer to individual students, that is restricted.

Records in this series referencing specific students by name are restricted permanently in accordance with Section 33.13, Mental Hygiene Law, relating to confidentiality of clinical records.
