This series consists of records that document the administrative work of Office of Mental Health facilities. Included are laboratory and administrative subject files of the Nathan Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research in Orangeburg, which investigates the causes, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of severe and persistent mental illnesses. Records include correspondence, reports, project proposals, administrative records, and budget documents.
