Scope and Content Note
These films ("TV Spots"), produced by the New York State Department of Health (DOH), were made to educate the public on health-related issues. Topics covered include dental health, vaccinations, cancer, and home safety. Film reels also document the construction of the DOH office building and the 1958 Polio Committee with Governor W. Averell Harriman and Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Jr.

This series was transferred under RDA 90336.
Custodial History
In 2020, New York State Library staff uncovered these films in storage and offered them to the New York State Archives.
