Custodial History

The Court of Appeals placed these records on deposit at the Historical Documents Collection, Queens College, from 1973 to 1982.

The WPA Historical Records Survey inventory of pre-1847 court records at the Court of Appeals (compiled in 1939) indicates there was a second volume in J0066 which the State Archives never received. The missing volume was titled "Chancery Index to Pleadings."
