Scope and Content Note
This series contains a short chronological record of actions taken and documents filed in cases heard before the Chancellor. Rules of the Court ordered the Register to keep a separate record of the progress of causes heard by the Chancellor. The names of the complainant and defendant, their attorneys' names, and a chronological listing of each action taken and their date is recorded for every case reported in the series. The format for cases varies from year to year. In some cases, the actions taken by the attorneys of the complainant and defendant are listed in separate columns and in others they are listed together.
